Compatibility
If you want to be able to angle your holder/device for better viewing, this Tilt Swivel Mount will make it possible. It angles approx. 15 degrees and swivels 360 degrees. This Tilt Swivel Mount also extends sideways from center to avoid a possible conflict between your device and dashboard controls or gear shift etc.
The Tilt Swivel Mount is placed between your device Holder and the ProClip Dashboard Mount (or any other mounting bracket or flat surface). The faceplate of the Tilt Swivel mount has several hole patterns i.e. for the ProClip standard (two holes in a center line), and for the AMPS standard (four holes in a square pattern). The center screw (see main image above) in the Tilt Swivel Mount controls the pivot - tighter for a firm hold and lose for easier movement/angling of the holder.
The Tilt Swivel Base Plate on the back of the Tilt Swivel can be attached to any flat surface or mounting bracket. The base plate comes with 6 pre-drilled holes; 2 holes in a center line and 4 holes in a square pattern to accommodate the AMPS standard hole pattern. Enclosed in the packaging are 2 self tapping screws and 4 machine screws with nuts.
